Acting Out Books: Plan Revise Perform
Use drama to express knowledge of literature.
Seventh graders in Nadine Scott's drama class create performances to express their understanding of a picture book. Students work in groups to create scripts, props, and backgrounds for their performances. The groups present their work to each other and provide feedback. Nadine and the students co-create success criteria to use when evaluating the performances.
